Eddie

The dance was in full swing when Eddie walked into the gym. He moved with confidence, as if he owned the place, though everyone knew he'd dropped out of school the year before. Eddie likes fast cars and pretty girls, and he knows he can have his pick of any of the cute little things in their people skirts and saddle shoes. As he makes his way across the room, the girls follow, leaving behind their safe dates in favor of the danger that is Eddie. There isn't a jet black hair out of place on Eddie's head. His black leather jacket with the tough red fire hydrant buttons covers the rippling muscles that can be seen beneath his plain white t-shirt. The worn blue jeans fit as if they were sewn to his body. The motorcycle boots clomp as he steps across the highly polished floor of the gym, creating a beat that is echoed in the hearts of all the girls. Eddie won't be leaving the dance alone.

Eddie is completely handmade, from my own original design. The body is made from the classic Rockford red heel socks used for sock monkey dolls. His hair is made from yarn. His jacket is black vinyl, with plastic buttons. His t-shirt is...well, t-shirt material and his jeans are made from an old pair of jeans. His belt is vinyl, as well. The boots shown in the photos are black vinyl, but might be changed if I can reconfigure the pattern to look more like real boots. Eddie's eyes and nose are made of felt and hand-painted. Eddie has sculpted features - hands, feet, and mouth and he stands 21" from topknot to toes.

*The sunglasses are not handmade. However, they do fit his personality, and Eddie doesn't like to be without them.
