About the Artist

I began making cloth dolls 20 or so years ago, creating one of a kind, life-like, life-sized dolls from photos of children. While these dolls were very successful, life has a way of getting in the way, and I had to put away “my toys” for a number of years.

In the meantime, I met and fell in love with standard poodles. I currently share my life with two senior boys who amuse me to no end. Because of them, I was inspired to create both my book, PoodleVision, and my original, one of a kind Sock Poodle Dolls.

Actually, they came about because I always thought it would be funny to dress a poodle in a people skirt. This concept became Peggy Sue, my first doll and has spawned a new, quite enjoyable hobby.
